Navah: Kids Unite for Israel (Web Content)

The NAVAH Organization delivers care packages to Israeli victims of terror of all ages. These special deliveries have brought much comfort and support, evident in dozens of thank you letters received. Encouraged by these positive reactions, NAVAH has decided to launch another initiative that aims to uplift the spirits of terror victims and enrich their shattered lives, by showing them support from children from around the world.

All over Israel, in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and at home, the victims of terror attacks are slowly recovering from their emotional and physical injuries. For many of these families, however, life will never be the same. We invite your school or synagogue to participate in this meaningful project to help the many Israelis whose lives have been irreparably damaged by terrorism.

All schoolchildren from around the world are invited to express their concern for their Israeli brothers and sisters by drawing pictures for them or writing them messages of support. With a small donation for each card, NAVAH volunteers will be able to attach the children's creations to care packages and deliver them to terror victims. The purpose of the campaign is to give victims a renewed feeling of hope and dispel their sense of isolation, while children who reach out through their artwork or writing will experience the satisfaction of doing something positive to bring comfort to Israeli victims. And at this time of such anguish for so many Jewish people, the message and lesson of unity on their behalf does not go unnoticed.
